Meet Our Principal
Mr. Andrew Moskowitz brings twenty-seven years of experience in education, including more than twenty years in school leadership. Throughout his career, he has served as an elementary school teacher, Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, middle school assistant principal, elementary school principal, and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. In each role, Mr. Moskowitz has remained committed to putting students first and supporting teachers, families, and school communities.
Mr. Moskowitz began his career in the Franklin Township Public Schools in Gloucester County, New Jersey, where he taught sixth grade at Main Road School for seven years. In 2007, he became the district’s Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, overseeing K–6 curriculum, educational policies, and state testing. In 2008, he joined the Voorhees Township Public School District as an Assistant Principal at Voorhees Middle School, where he served until 2012 and oversaw seventh-grade discipline, instruction, transportation, and school testing for grades 6–8.
In 2012, Mr. Moskowitz became Principal of Edward T. Hamilton Elementary School, a position he held for eleven years. He considers his time at Hamilton one of the most rewarding chapters of his career and valued the opportunity to lead an outstanding school community. From July 2023 through September 2026, he served as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, providing district leadership in curriculum and instruction, professional development, staff supervision, and the implementation of state standards and initiatives.
Mr. Moskowitz earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from La Salle University and began his professional career as an auditor before discovering his true passion for education. He returned to La Salle University to earn a Master’s Degree in Education and later earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. He also completed all coursework toward doctoral studies at Rowan University.
Mr. Moskowitz is married to his wife, Roseann, and they are the proud parents of two children, Matthew and Victoria. He is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Voorhees Township community as Principal of the Voorhees Early Childhood Development Center. He looks forward to building meaningful relationships with young learners and their families while creating a nurturing, engaging, and joyful environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive.
Mr. Moskowitz will begin his role as principal on October 1, 2026. Until that time, Dr. Diane Young will serve as the acting principal.
